DOUXE isn’t just a shop, it’s where the art of good sleep meets genuinely unforgettable comfort. Born from that moment every well-travelled person knows, waking up in a hotel bed so good you wish it came home with you.
DOUXE Amsterdam Store sits within Oostenburg, a former industrial island currently undergoing a full urban transformation into a mixed-use residential neighbourhood.
Rather than operating as a traditional retail environment, the Amsterdam concept store is conceived as a spatial translation of five-star hospitality. Visitors are welcomed into a sequence of hotel-inspired rooms from the Cotton Lounge to the Oriental and Raffles Suites each presenting different sleep concepts and material experiences.

Comfort that starts long before bedtime
We wanted to create more than a store. We wanted to design the feeling of a perfect night’s sleep. The kind you recognise instantly. Crisp sheets, soft light, a quiet room, nowhere else to be. That calm, weightless moment you usually only find in a great hotel. That atmosphere became the starting point for the interior.
It’s less about choosing what to buy and more about remembering how a room can make you feel. The interior guides you to slow down, touch, test and explore.
A sequence of rooms
The use of warm walnut arches, shape a series of intimate niches, like small rooms within a room, each one echoing the feeling of a private suite.
The Marble floors catch the light and send it gently across the space, adding a soft rhythm to every step.
Products are styled the way you would find them in a hotel, ready to be tested and to bring home.
